Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Her modelling career began in Italy which is in which she was born and raised, before being was born in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first performance. It was a long road to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller role. She struggled with the transition to acting as models weren't considered good actors, and they generally were offered smaller roles. Amy never gave up. Her first big part came from The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. After a few years, Amy took the leap into bigger roles. She starred in the 2005 love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained recognition after more than ten years of trying. She then went on to work in many of the greatest film productions, such as the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
