Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born April 16 1996, in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an Argentine of Scottish and English descent. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. After being in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. After 16 she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started at a young, age.
